Day 1: LIMA

Lodging: Hotel in Lima.

Welcome to Peru! Being the only capital city of America located by the sea.

Lima is populous and full of world-famous attractions and restaurants.

We will be happy to receive in the airport. Then you have a good rest in the hotel because then we received you in the airport and transfer you to your hotel.


Day 2: DINNER SHOW

Lodging: Hotel in Lima.

Locations: Lima

It is a good to acclimatize. You can take time to make some purchase, walk or do any sport or you can take a tour for yourself. In Lima we have other options only ask to your agent.

Lima for being the only capital city of America on the seafront and full of world-famous attractions and restaurants. It is the gastronomic capital of America and only for that reason, one of the many that it has, becomes a pleasant tourist center.

In the evening we will transfer you to a themed restaurant, where you can enjoy Buffet Dinner + a spectacular show of typical Peruvian dances. We will pick up time to go to La Dama Juana restaurant. Several typical Peruvian dishes at a full buffet dinner. Enjoy the show and also the exquisite dinner.

22:00 Return to the hotel. Overnight in Lima.


Day 3: LIMA (FREE DAY)

This day you can relax all of the day. You can do activities you want.

Walk around, purchase some souvenirs or take other tour for yourself. We have more options for this day. Just ask for them to your travel agent.


Day 4: FULL DAY PARACAS & ICA

Accommodation: Hotel in Nazca.

Places: Paracas, Ica.

Highest Elevation (Ica): 406 masl / 1,332.02 ft ASL

At 2:50 am we will pick you up from the hotel to take the bus from Lima to Paracas. Our bus will leave at 4:00 am and after 3 hours we will arrive in Paracas.

8:00 am pick up from Paracas and start of the Ballestas Islands Tour. From the Paracas spa, you can visit the Ballestas islands by boat, habitat of sea lions, guano birds, penguins and a diversity of marine fauna. On the way you can see a figure El Candelabro, engraved on the side of a hill, is a geoglyph with a rock formation eroded by the wind and the sea. It is more than 120 meters long and is also called Tres Cruces or Tridente. The best way to appreciate it is from the sea.

At noon we will take a bus from Paracas to Ica for around 3 hours. Upon arrival in Ica we will continue the excursion of Tubular rides are a fantastic adventure in the middle of the desert where you can enjoy the high and low dunes and you can feel the adrenaline on these desert roller coasters.

In the high parts of the desert you can practice sandboarding, our official driver will instruct you so that you can safely drop it if you do not have experience in this sport.

At 06:00 pm we will take the bus to Ica where we will spend the night there and take the overflight of the Nasca lines the next day.


Day 5: NAZCA: FLY-OVER THE MAJESTIC NAZCA LINES

Meals: Breakfast.

Accommodation: Hotel in Arequipa.

Places: Ica, Nazca, Nazca airfield, Arequipa.

Highest elevation (Arequipa) : 2,335 meters ASL / 7,660 feet ASL

Early in the morning we will pick you up from the hotel and leave for the aerodrome where we will board a light plane for a memorable air excursion over the Nazca Lines. A bilingual guide (Spanish / English) will assist you at all times until you board the plane. This overflight over the Nazca Lines will cover the extension of the Nazca desert stone, whose surface is marked by gigantic drawings and geometric figures. The overflight to the Nasca lines takes approximately 35 minutes and is the best way to see these fascinating lines and drawings that have intrigued people for years. Here, you will be able to see the different figures traced on the stone surface of the Nazca desert, representing stylized animals and plants, distributed in a huge maze of lines, trapezoids, triangles and spirals that have been preserved for almost 2000 years. It is one of the most incredible legacies that a culture has left behind and that can only be seen from the sky at an altitude of 1500 feet. After the overflight we will have time to have lunch and take a bus to Arequipa at 02:30 pm arriving at our destination at 11:30 pm. We will be assisted upon arrival in Arequipa and transferred to the hotel where we will spend the night.


Day 6: AREQUIPA: CITY TOUR

Places: Plaza de Armas, Selva Alegre district, Yanahuara viewpoint and others.

Highest elevation: 2.335 m.a.s.l / 7.661 ft ASL

Food: Breakfast.

In the morning we will have enough time to adapt to the weather and to carry out personal activities on our own. In the afternoon at approximately 14:00pm we will pick you up so we can make the pick you up from your hotel in the center of Arequipa.

The tour will begin with a visit to the Carmen Alto district.

From the viewpoint, you can see the three volcanoes that surround the White City of Arequipa: the Misti (5,800 meters), Chachani (6,000 meters) and Pichu Pichu (5,300 meters), as well as the beautiful countryside with its platform.

You will then get off to visit the square, church and other traditional and colonial district of Yanahuara, with its large mansions and typical alleys made with the typical and white sillar, volcanic tuff made stone and that is the reason why Arequipa has the surname of White City.

The Historic Centre, declared by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site, will continue.

Then we will visit the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by its three granite portals with brick and lime vaults, and the central pool with a beautiful three-course bronze fountain crowned with the figure of a 16th century soldier, called "El Tuturutu".

Then we visited the Cathedral Basilica (year 1656), considered as one of the first religious monuments, of neoclassical style, destroyed by a fire in 1844 and rebuilt in 1868. Its frontis is 107 metres long and is decorated with 70 classic-style columns, two towers and two bronze medallions.

Then we go to the Convent of the Society of Jesus erected by the Jesuits, the highest expression of religious architecture where its church stands out (year 1573) and the Polychrome Chapel of San Ignacio de Loyola, as well as its cloisters with arches carved in ashlar, typical white volcanic stone. Its walls, domes and pilasters boast a lush baroque and the altars and altarpieces are covered with gold leaf.

Finally we visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina (year 1580), a citadel built in ashlar with an area of 20 thousand m2.


Day 7: AREQUIPA: TOUR TO THE THERMAL BATHS OF LA CALERA

Depth: 4,600 metres

Meals: Breakfast and lunch.

Accommodation: Hotel in Chivay.

Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and prepare your camera. Between at 7:45 - 08:15am we will pick you up from the hotel to leave for Chivay.

At 09:00 a.m. will be our departure to Chivay. We will begin our journey along the road to Yura, where we will admire the natural and cultural landscape of that area, then skirt the volcano Chachani and pass through the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca until we reach Pampa Cañahuas, In this place the guide will explain about the flora and fauna of the area, here we will appreciate the natural habitat of the most famous South American camelid LA VICUÑA. Continuing with the journey along the way will make a small stop in Patahuasi (house on top) to take the coca mate. Immediately we will continue the journey towards the bofedales where we will observe different species of birds both local and migratory to the area according to season, then we will continue until Patapampa, highest point of the trip located to 4800 m.a.s.l approx. Also known as the Mirador de los Andes, here you can see different volcanoes such as Misti, Hualcahualca, Sabancaya, Ampato, Ubinas and Chachani. Then we will continue our tour and arrive at the village of Chivay, where we can have lunch at the restaurant chosen. After a few hours we will go to the thermal baths "La Calera" and in turn we will be able to visit the museum of the Collahuas and Cabanas. After enjoying a refreshing bath, we will be returning to Chivay at approximately 18:30pm.  When we get there we will prepare to dine in the restaurant chosen accompanied by a live folk show. After this beautiful evening we will pick you up from the restaurant and take you to your hotel at 22:00pm.


Day 8: COLCA CANYON - CRUZ DEL CONDOR

Highest elevation (Puno): 4,500 masl / 14,763.78 ft ASL

Depth: 4,600 metres

Meals: Breakfast and lunch.

You should be ready in the morning, since after breakfast we will pick you up in the direction of the Mirador de la Cuz del Condor. Where if you are very lucky you can observe the majestic flight of the condors and the depth of the canyon. The Colca Valley, is 3,000 meters deep and, with it, is deeper than the famous Colorado Canyon, United States. For the steep walls of this geographical feature in some places they drain thermal waters, with recognized medicinal properties like La Calera and Yanque.

It is located in the valley of the same name that is located to the west of the city of Arequipa, in a region far from the main routes of communication. The Colca is known for being one of the deepest canyons on earth, formed by the river of the same name and by the practice, in recent years, of adventure sports such as canoeing and paragliding. There are 14 villages staggered along the valley, full of life and color. On the Cross of the Condor the road passes to the edge of the canyon. Returning to Chivay we will visit the villages of PINCHOLLO, MACA, ACHOMA and YANQUE, in which the guide will explain their different customs of the area, as well as the Lito models, colonial churches and platforms. To the 11:30 approx. We’ll reach Chivay. We will have lunch in a restaurant of your choice and at approximately 13:30pm we will board the bus to move to the city of Puno.

Our arrival will be at 19:30pm to the city of Puno, so we will be greeted at the bus station and taken to the hotel where we stay tonight.


Day 9: PUNO: SLEEPING IN UROS - FLOATING ISLANDS OF LAKE TITICACA

Food: Breakfast in Puno hotel, Lunch and dinner in the Uros.

Lodging: Lodge in los Uros.

Our experience begins with the transfer of your hotel to the town center of Uros-Chulluni where we will embark to the floating islands of the Uros received by a local family , they take us to their lodging of rural family in their boats costumbristas to 15 minutes from the indicated port, then we will be accommodated in the rooms duly equipped for the experiential tourism, once installed we will taste a delicious lunch offered by the family, then we will be able to appreciate the different activities in the Uros, such as artisanal fishing, Corte de la Totora, its Clothing with native costumes, Kayaking on Totora boats and visits to the surrounding communities, guests can also learn traditional crafts and weaving techniques. In the afternoon we will have the dinner offered by the locals of the accommodation, we will spend the night and the next day we will be able to taste the exquisite breakfast. In the morning we will leave the rooms to return to the city of Puno.


Day 10: PUNO - CUSCO

Food: Breakfast and Breakfast

Lodging: Hotel in Cusco.

After tasting a delicious breakfast in the Uros Island, we will return by boat to the city of Puno

After saying goodbye to our friends and thanking them for the hospitality they have offered us, we will transfer to the bus station to move to the city of Cusco. Upon our arrival we will be assisted and taken to our hotel where we will rest that night.


Day 11: CUSCO: CITY TOUR + 4 NEARBY RUINS

Food: Breakfast.

During the morning you can take a light stroll through the streets and avenues of the city on your own, so you can acclimate, take some pictures or shop. Keep in mind that we will have an afternoon tour so you should have lunch at noon and buy water to hydrate yourself.

Traditional City Tour in Cusco

01:00 pm pick up from the hotel, at 13:30pm start of our city tour, where our professional guide will provide us with detailed information of all the tourist attractions we will visit, will be attentive to any questions and/or needs that each of our visitors requires.

The places to visit are. The main temple of the Sun also known as the "Qoricancha", "Sacsayhuaman" known as the head of the Puma in reference to the fact that the City of Cusco had the shape of a Puma in Inca times and the head of this puma was exactly Sacsayhuaman, we immediately visited Qenqo , temple in honor of mother earth or Pachamama, we continue for Pucapucara or control center of entrance to the Sacred City of Cusco , later we visit Tambomachay Inca resting place and at the same time temple to the natural element of Water.


Day 12: FULL DAY WILLOQ

Food: Breakfast, lunch, lunch.

Accommodation: Hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Places: Cusco, Willoq, Ollantaytambo.

Willoq elevation: 3,754 masl / 12,316 ft ASL

The tour starts at 06:00 in Cusco and ends at 19:00 (full day)

We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 6:00 am towards Ollantaytambo (living Inca city), there we will make a brief stop to visit the city, then we will go to the native community of Willoq located 14 km from Ollantaytambo. Willoq is an indigenous community of the Ande, located in the Patacancha river valley, belonging to the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, in Cusco. Before arriving to Willoq we receive large expanses of potato fields, green beans, corn, coca, plus a lot of bird and plant species. The people in charge of the community will welcome us, dressed in their traditional costumes (costumes that we will see later how women make manually).

It is rich in flora and fauna, being able to find 60 species of birds and more than 700 species of plants. In Willoq there is still a direct descendant of the last Incas which can be corroborated by the current surnames of the local people, like Yupanqui,Sinchi, Pukha, Huamán, Cusipáucar, Tupha, among others. once in Willoq our local friends will welcome us with a welcome drink (mate de coca or muña ) and their folk dance, they will show us and share their customs and traditions and daily activities (Know, interact, share the Inca customs and traditions of this Community, sow, sew, cook and have fun with their typical dances) the approximate duration of the activity is about 3 to 4 hours, then we will have a typical lunch of the place and after a rest and some conviviality. We will head to Ollantaytambo Train Station. Where we will board the train to Machupicchu village called "Aguas Calientes".


Day 13: AGUAS CALIENTES: MACHUPICCHU- CUSCO

Machupicchu Elevation: 2430 m.a.s.l / 7972 ft ASL

At coordinated time, we will move to the bus station, to board the bus from Machu Picchu village to Machu Picchu the Inca City. We will have a visit in the city with a bilingual professional guide, after 02 hours, we can visit the Inca city on our own.

In good time we will return to the village of Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

Then we will move to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo and then to Cusco.

Overnight stay in Cusco.


Day 14: RELAXED CUSCO

Meals: Breakfast.

This day you can take it for yourself. You will have the day off to do the activities you like best, enjoy the nightlife of the city if you want or you can take an additional tour to acclimate yourself. You can go out through the streets of the city, you could make the purchase of some souvenirs or rest in the hotel if you wish, as this will be the last night in Cusco.


Day 15: CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO

Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Today we will embark on an exciting journey to the jungle of Peru, we will pick you up after breakfast to take you to the airport of Cusco and take the flight to Puerto Maldonado.

We will start our program, with a bus tour, around the city. Then we will head to the Puerto Capitanía, where our boat will wait for you to sail along the Bajo Madre de Dios River (Serpenteante River), until we reach our hostel, located thirty kilometers from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Along the way, you will be able to see rural lands for agricultural and livestock activities near the city. If the weather is favourable, it will observe colorful plants such as heliconias of giant flowers, and the possibility of observing animals such as ronsocos, caimanes, aquatic turtles, herons, cormorants, carrion and prey birds. Upon arrival at our hostel, you will be greeted with a delicious nectar of Amazonian tropical fruits. Then you will be taken to your comfortable room (bungalow), reserved for the occasion. Once installed, a succulent lunch will await you in our cozy rustic design dining room.

COCHA CAIMÁN

In the afternoon, you will be led by our specialized guide through an interpretive trail conveniently signposted to the Cocha Cayman, a small lagoon where you will have the possibility to observe the black alligator and white alligator, efficient predators located at the top of the food chain, which live off the abundant water fauna of the cocha, represented by fish species. When you return to the hostel, a delicious dinner will await you and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board games room and provided with all the drinks you can imagine. The nocturnal fauna will be in charge of lulling it with the melody of an infinity of songs and voices of different birds.


Day 16: PUERTO MALDONADO: LAGO APU VICTOR

The magic begins with the song of birds of the Amazonian paradise, waking up with the song of the howler monkey. A hearty breakfast will provide you with the energy you need for a morning full of new experiences. LAKE APU VÍCTOR: After breakfast, we will start a hike towards the deep forest, following prepared trails, conveniently conserved and signposted. On the way, we will cross the riparian forest to higher forests, and then descend to floodplain forests, to climb back to hill forests. During the journey, we will witness the most varied range of species of flora and fauna in the wild.

Along the way, it will identify species of fruit, forest and medicinal trees that support animal and human populations in Amazonian forests. These include aguaje, mahogany, chestnut, catahua, cedar, cético, copaiba, shihuaco. With luck and in silence, you can spot larger mammals, such as sachavaca and huangana; rodents such as the giant otter, ronsoco, majaz and armadillo; primates such as the coto or howler monkey and the puffin lion, black martin or cappuccino; reptiles such as iguana and jergon; amphibians such as toad and birds such as bush pava, partridge, golden parakeet and blue, yellow and red macaw. In the rainforest you will appreciate insects such as butterflies (Lepidoptera), beetles (Coleoptera), crickets, chicharras, ants, centipedes and millipedes of various species. We arrived at the majestic Lake Apu Víctor surrounded by huge swamps and gigantic trees. Amazon viewpoint (huge observation platform), from which you will enjoy a panoramic view over the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos, Herons and other animals like Caimans, Turtles, etc. Fish varieties, They enter Lake Apu Victor with the floods of the rainy season (increasing). In addition, there are other species of fauna associated with the lake, such as motelo, matamata, aguajal charapita, fraile, chozna, red deer, añuje and giant otters from the Amazon Rainforest. On the way back to the hostel, a repairman will be waiting for you for lunch. In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit the Monkey Island, located a few minutes from the hostel in the heart of the Madre de Dios River. This island displays a huge variety of lush flora and houses numerous specimens of primates, such as the Maquisapa, the Cappuccino and the Puffin and Leoncillo. In addition to other small mammal species such as the coati (Nasua), the squirrel and a huge variety of colorful birds. Finally we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Back at the hostel, you can enjoy an exquisite farewell dinner.


Day 17: PUERTO MALDONADO – CUSCO

Meals: Desayuno.

Accommodation: Hotel en Cusco.

Places: Cusco, Puerto Maldonado.

After a restful night of rest, again the powerful vocalizations produced by the howler monkey will remind him that he is still in his domain and that the time has come to leave. Our breakfast awaits you in our dining room, before returning to Puerto Maldonado.

Then we will transfer to Puerto Maldonado Airport. We will receive in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.
